How did you find EOK?: Word of Mouth

Who are you? (family, school, work, hobbies, interests, dreams): I am a small business "Administrative Assistant" and I have experience working in legal, telecommunications, property management, retail, environmental, medical, marketing, fraud research, real estate and with lots of small businesses. I hope to start using my event planning that I am learning at Entrepreneurs of Knoxville to help you plan and implement your business events.

I specialize in supporting those who need help with small business management and marketing. I want to allow you to take care of more pressing business functions than will increase your bottom line. I will implement all the essential components you never have time to get to but are important for your business to run well and be successful. I can also be the face of your business as I am very social, exude enthusiasm and tend to naturally see that people have what they need.

I am also a Reiki II practitioner and have animal certification. I practice animal reiki on the horses at Horse Haven of TN, a non-profit rescue farm and on the kittens/cats at Happy Paws Animal Rescue both in Knoxville, TN.

I'm very passionate about life and try to always be optimistic! I believe that having a positive attitude is a choice. I want to make the world a better place by helping the most people possible! I believe entrepreneurs are saving our country at the present moment and relish the idea.

I love intelligent people because I need to always be learning. I like living and thinking outside the box....

INC magazine's article on Why Inc 500 CEO's are Smiling

The article in the March INC magazine on Why Inc CEO's are Smiling is very encouraging. They're getting ready for good times ahead - and they're creating jobs. 93.3% expect to hire employees within the next six months, 95.7% do not expect to lay off employees in the next six months, when asked how many employees they've hired in the last six months 65.5% responded 1-10. When asked how optimistic they are about 2010, 60% replied very optimistic with 38.9% somewhat optimistic.… Continue

Hello everybody, I've certainly missed seeing everybody and some of you may have been wondering what in the world happened to Marty? Patrick Hunt wants to let EOK know about his latest project, Circle Chirp (http://circlechirp.com).

I left Scripps a few years ago to work on Qualcomm's (out of San Diego) startup, mobile, television service called FLOTV. It was sold to AT&T and I returned to Knoxville to work on two new startup, digital media businesses -- 1) NewsBreak Network - a digital-out-of-home media platform that narrowcast news, weather, sport and advertising to point of purchase displays throughout Knoxville & Nashville, ie., TV's at Pilot fuel pumps; and 2) Active Media Project - an interactive television platform for the internet and wireless devices.
