I can't begin to tell you how much I have grown since joining EOK. I started out looking for help with the basics, and ended up learning how to ask the hard questions, how to write a business plan, how to pitch an idea, and well, I could go on. I love all my fellow entrepreneurs who celebrate my successes with me. My time spent weekly at EOK has been so valuable.

So what's to hate? Well, at first I thought it was the new schedule. I got so much out of the weekly meetings and then they were gone. Now my Wednesdays no longer need to be protected, and I never know if I'm going to be available for a monthly gathering. But that isn't it, really. No. What I hate is that I didn't realize sooner how much I was using EOK as an excuse not to get out there and make mistakes. I was collecting all this good knowledge and yet I was failing to launch -- but not any more.

Leo, that's a great idea to use Google+ for group meetings as long as there are only 10 participants max. Of course, the peer group discussions (and other similar discussions) might not flourish if live streamed.

What if the leaders of the various GROUPS on EOK hosted regular hangouts on g+ and we streamed them LIVE?  It would be easy to send a message to the group letting them know the hangout was about to start or even add the hangouts to the EVENTS list.

One of the ways I've pushed myself to move forward is through accountability partners. I use Google+ hangouts to share my struggles regularly without having to pack up and leave the house. I think it would be cool to form some EOK groups like this and get a 15 minute kickstart on a regular basis.

I totally agree with you Kathi. I consider myself to be a recovering perfectionist and information junkie. At some point we must stop gathering new information and move forward.

Agreed! It's easy to become comfortable here at EOK.  It's great being surrounded by super smart people sharing their experiences.  We have to be reminded to take this new stuff we've learned and get out there and do something with it...but...remember to come back every now and then to tell us how you're doing and to share those new experiences.

I love this Kathi and can identify with some of what you are saying. Reading this made me smile on so many levels I can't even begin to tell you. My story is a little different but I also have a failure to launch but am working to change that so I guess change is in the air :)  Thank you so much, your honesty is so refreshing! Hugs and kudos to you!!!
