Members Helping Members - Educating, Informing, Supporting
This article and attached photo was in the Shopper for Karns, Hardin Valley, West Knoxville. This reporter saw where we would be at lunch by looking on LinkedIn and just showed up, it was kinda cool.
Entrepreneurs of Knoxville (EOK) is a network group with meetings each Wednesday morning at Cherokee Mills, lunches at varying restaurants and monthly pub night get-togethers. Last week, they met at Lemon Grass, located at 9117 Executive Park Drive. Each week’s meeting time and place is announced on their website, www.eokhq.com.
EOK is a group dedicated to helping entrepreneurs succeed with their business. “To have a support network like EOK is really great,” said Walt Lounsbery. “When your business grows, you do different things over time, so it’s not just a one-time thing for most people.”
According to Marty Lawson, EOK is good for somebody who wants to start a business, already has a business and needs help with it or someone with a successful business who would like to share.
The group was started in 2008 by Leo Knight of DBR Systems. Lawson refers to him as their “fearless leader.”
