How did you find EOK?
I was introduced to the group by Jonathan Patrick, an active EOK member.
Who are you? (family, school, work, hobbies, interests, dreams)
First of all, I am a proud husband of a wonderful wife and father of two amazing children. I work as a registered patent attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee, in the State of Georgia, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. I practice under my company ROBINSON IP LAW, PLLC. Our firm's work exclusively centers around patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law in which I have over ten years of experience. Clients vary from from multi-national corporations to local inventors and business persons. As a former adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law, I taught a course I developed covering trademark law. Prior to attending law school, I worked for Nalco Chemical Company and consulted with various facilities regarding their heat exchange equipment including chillers, boilers, and chill/steam loops. Some of my clients while with Nalco included the McKinley Climatic Laboratory at Eglin Air Force Base; Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida; Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi; the United States Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida; and the Honeywell Friction Materials plant in Lynn Haven, Florida. My technical background is chemical engineering (B.S., Auburn University) and I also minored in music as an undergrad which helps when representing musicians and clients in music-related businesses.
How has EOK helped you?

Indirect Patent Infringement and Component Manufacturers

Component manufacturers beware:  You may be on the hook for patent infringement. Even if a component product does not meet every limitation of a patent claim, the component product manufacturer may still be liable for patent infringement under a theory of indirect patent infringement. Fair enough. However, those in attendance at the site were given $100 bills for their loyalty, so I'm sorry to say that you missed out. (Just kidding [in case you thought I was serious])
