Get That Book Done Mastermind/Peer Group

Most of us (especially me) just keep saying "I'm going to write a book someday." This group will meet monthly and hold each other accountable for getting that book written.

How did you find EOK?
Leo, of course
Who are you? What do you do? Tell us a little about you...
I've been in business since 1994 and love to write and edit. It's always fascinating. I'm single, with two grown boys. I foster Great Danes for Dames for Danes, so I always have too many overgrown dogs hanging around on my couch or bed.

Posted on June 6, 2011 at 8:56pm 1 Comment

I'm practicing for my funding pitch for the Fairview Business Competition tomorrow. And boy, am I struggling. I find myself questioning every word and phrase - then I get confused and forget what to say. As I was doing this, I realized that I was editing my speech.

When you are an editor, you…

What I Did On My Christmas Break - I Went to a Workshop in California

Posted on January 6, 2011 at 3:50pm 1 Comment

I first met Terri Langhans at a conference in Dallas four years ago. I love her sense of humor, but most of all I love her easy to implement ideas for marketing. It's really good to take some time to work ON your business. I came home with a new, more targeted elevator speech and lots of talking points (she…

Thanks! That's so sweet! Janet Edkins is getting ready to re-do my website so it looks as cool as my design work (I am not so much a website developer). I'll let everyone know when the new version is up and running :) We should get together for coffee or something, I'd love to learn more about your writing :)
