I've been using VMWare Fusion on my iMac and MacBook Pro to run RSLogix, RSView, etc. for projects. It works great. I haven't had any issues with it. It's a great way to keep your entire programming…

Here's a site that already exists that gets a lot of activity from both providers and customers http://www.plcs.net/

Here's another: http://mrplc.com/

I have a URL http://automationspace.com that I want to develop into a community for Industrial Automation providers and Manufacturing clients. Eventually I'd like to add an http://elance.com type bidding solution for these industrial providers and customers.

Anyone interested on building something? I was thinking http://squarespace.com or http://ning.com but am open to suggestions.

I'm meeting with an independent sales rep this Friday morning to discuss contracting him to call on local industrial clients for me. Anyone interested in joining us for this discussion? I'm planning to share this resource with others at EOK who would want to call on these same clients.

Just let me know if you want to attend. We'll be meeting in my office in Sequoyah Hills...1204 Kenesaw, Suite AB, 37919.

Leo, we can help too with all of the DB and web work as well. Also if you need someone to actually design and layout the the DB in SQL I can do that too. Also with the cabling and wi-fi done that too so theres alot that I can offer as far as those go. I would also like to just be around or in the loop with uploading the data from the ControlLogix system into the DB because I have never worked with one of those before.

Hey Leo - following up from the web group... if you can get the data into SQL, we can interface with the DB and get it on the web in just about any capacity (login protected, etc). If they still need someone to setup and install switches, cat 6 cabling, wi-fi, vpn, etc we can help there too.
