Before meet and greet time starts this week we are going to have our own board member, Dr. Scot Chrisman take about 20 mins to tell us a little about his new "meeting after the meeting" he's working on for small business training.

"Recovering Psychiatrist" -- MD/Psychiatrist. Graduated in Pre-Med from Ohio Wesleyan U. 1967. Med School at U. of Louisville, 1971. Psychiatry Residency at Ohio State U. 1974.

After moving to Knoxville in 1989 started, co-owned and was VP of a large steel fabrication business, designing and building steel frames for shopping centers, churches, and other large structures.

Began joint-venture business consulting in 2002, taking a NASCAR/Busch car to the Daytona 500 week with Joint-Venture Sponsorship.

In 2005 I along with two others launched Eagle Boat Docks -- building a number of large scale Marinas in the E. TN area.

Started "4th Gear Marketing Group" in 2006, along with starting a private endeavor of Personal and Business "Coaching"... (at my "office" at Panera Bread on Peters Road in W. Knoxville!)

Met Leo Knight one morning at Panera's... Later on joined Leo, Chris Austin, and a couple others on Wednesday mornings -- We called ourselves the "Knoxville Entrepreneur's Group" -- the rest is history!

Currently working with Matt Long on the development of "Movies You Missed" and several private website development/marketing clients, and soon launching our "meetings after the meeting" for Small Biz Training...

Wish I could be at the meeting Wed. I am hoping my investing partner,
Maggie Valentine, can be there.

Reminder (ME included!) EOK meetings are intended to start at 8:30 AM on the dot. If we keep with that, we can get a LOT done in a short time...

Should we implement an egg timer or some other alarm system to keep the discussions moving? I love this format...this is how it all started. Each member getting the floor for a while to talk about their business, current project, hair-brained ideas, etc.
